HIRING AND TERMINATION
HIRING
Employees must sign
an employment agreement upon hiring. Terms of employment are to be detailed
in the agreement and signed by the employee and a manager. Employees will be
subject to a three month probation period.
TERMINATION
Employee ending employment:
Two weeks notice is
to be given by the employee prior to terminating their employment.
Company ending employment:
The company shall give
two weeks notice to the employee in the event of termination without cause.
No severance will be given. In the event of termination with cause, the company
is not required to give the employee notice of the termination.
Cause for termination
can be defined as, but is not limited to: acts which compromise the safety of
the shop or employees of the shop, theft of any amount, falsification of information
to either a customer or the company, fraud, violence or threat of violence,
use of alcohol or drugs on the job.
